L2P burned forever
Every block, a share of the gas fees is moved to a wallet nobody owns. Those coins can never move again.
Burned per day
Daily totals over the last 30 days, summed from the feeBurned events of the ValidatorSet contract.
A cut of every gas fee
This burn is not a promise or a payout. It happens in the block itself, enforced by the chain.
You pay gas
Every transaction pays a fee in L2P. At the end of the block, the validator hands the collected fees to the ValidatorSet contract.
The contract splits the fee
A fixed share goes to the system reward pool, a fixed share is burned, and the validator keeps the rest.
The burn share leaves for good
The burned share is transferred to a wallet that has no owner and no code. Nobody holds its key, so the coins can never be spent again.
Governance sets the share
The burn ratio is an on-chain parameter. Coin holders can change it through a governance proposal, and the change waits out the timelock before it takes effect.
What burning does and does not mean
The coins are not destroyed at the protocol level. They are moved to a wallet nobody controls, so they still show up in the total supply while being permanently out of circulation. This is the same mechanism BNB uses, and we call it what it is.
Scheduled burns on top of the gas burn
Whatever is left of the presale allocation once the presale closes does not go back to the team. It is burned in scheduled batches, spread out over years, on top of the gas fee burn that runs block by block. Every batch lands on the same burn address and shows up in the numbers on this page.
